Ronald Koeman

The twerker is saying Xavi will be our next manager. Makes sense given Laporta has been in touch with him last couple of weeks. Might have told him to be ready in case Koeman doesn't survive.

It's surreal that a journo is announcing his latest scoop on a twitch stream. What a time we are living in

Having read some articles on him,
it's rather that in ARgentina coaches prioritize only 1 competiton: Libertadores or Domestic League, not both (don't know why, prob has to do with number of games, schedule etc)
Gallardo was asked to prioritize Libertadores
The reason is usually that he cant prioritize both competitions because almost every transfer season loses key players and thinned his squad. Thats he he usually does well in Copa Libertadores and not that well in the league.

It's not only the manager that needs to be changed. It's the whole, lazy culture.
Setien tried to introduce two a day sessions and the players were pissed off.
We still have the crappy seniors left who wield influence in the dressing room.

Good for them IMO.

Traditional journalism need to change their ways. Especially trash like Mundo Deportivo and Sport full of people with their own agendas where they would rather see the club they "love" burn down just to protect the people they like or pay them

Get rid of Pique and Busquets. Alba too if necessary.

Yeah it's definitely good. Gives way more autonomy for independent people.

I don't know much about him to make an informed statement, but he's on his way of winning the league now.

He seem universally loved and highly rated by South American and European pundits alike, but who knows whether he is the right man or should be the first option in our current situation.

I'm Gallardo in honestly, took a River Plate team that 2 years before was in the second division and make them win their 3rd Libertadores. They play attractive football, the only thing that worries me is that Argentinian coaches historically don't have really good results in Barcelona

If Xavi is appointed (IMO I think he will be, this is his best shot at the job), how will he handle benching his amigos if they don't play well? does he have the balls to bench Busi, Pique, Alba, S.Roberto if they aren't performing? I highly doubt it.

You're welcome
Yeah I read it few minutes ago. But it went completely under my radar.

Ty for everything coach.

Curious as to see who's next. Xavi will be interesting. Not sure if smart but will be behind him.

Don't really know where to go from here honestly.

Btw Koeman has a camera crew following him around filming a documentary.

That's become a must-watch now

The stress he's experiencing with that and the whole negativity, that car thing, the sacking, etc. must be pretty huge. I would take a long vacation somewhere very far away in his place, which he'll probably do
