Even top tier managers won't be able to achieve anything with this team and under current board. This team needs a fresh start from zero and it will take time.

If he starts fresh, he will win nothing, and be sacked by the next board. It seems Koeman wants short term results to buy himself more time. Unfortunately, he will ruin himself here, because this old core has nothing more to give.
He should go all in with reconstruction and accept the fact that we will win nothing major under him (as even the most optimistic fans have accepted) and that he will probably be here 1-2 seasons tops.
