Calma. He has been more than flexible with contractual agreements with Barca so far.
It is time for the club to fulfill their agreements. It is going to look bad to outside world if we keep dealing with things in this way.

This. He was very flexible yet we treated him like shit. In the end he had no hope of surviving with the roster etc.
He did the tough job for the club. Terrible transition year.

He took advantage of the situation under Bartomeu. He knew there would be an election and probably a new board halfways. Agreeing these terms is as distasteful as offering them, and maintaining them in this situation is even more distasteful.

He fronted the amount for release clause with dutch football federation. He told Barca they could pay his salary in future.

This was him being flexible to get into the contract that now gives him 12m in hand on top of the wage for the rest of the contract?
What was the amount he fronted 14 months ago or so?

Doesn't matter. Any other coach done this and they would not be subject to scrutiny and be praised for it. Double standards much.

Of course it matters what he paid.
I am sure it was true that this was his dream job, but it would be anyones dream job with a 12m clause for getting sacked. ANYONE would pay, let's say, 6m in order to get on such a contract. A "club legend" might think it would feel wrong to get on such a contract, and after having failed miserably, a "club legend" might feel he shouldn't exercise his right to get exactly every penny that is written on the contract given by the thieves that formerly ran the club and ran it to the ground, but save the club a bit of money to save his own face.

[MENTION=29755]Bobo32[/MENTION] I agree. legally, Koeman is entitled to the full amount, but seeing as he failed miserably, one would hope that he?d forego a healthy percentage of said compensation in order to help the club out during financially difficult times. I mean, that is what I?d expect of someone who supposedly loves the club as much as Koeman says he does.
