My weekend was equal to the Treble. Easily equal. . .maybe better!! The Highlanders win the Super 15. Our first Championship. Everyone underated us at the start of the season because we didn't have star players.
We are not the fastest, biggest, strongest or most skillful side in the Super 15. At the start of the season we had 3 All Blacks in the squad. During the season players got injured and we ended up using > 39 players!! The Management had to dig deep and Introduce players from lower rugby levels.
We managed to get to the final because our team had fun and bonded very well. We had a game plan and made up for the lack of ability. . . . By working as a team.
From all this our team gained extreme motivation to prove to the World that nobodys can climb to the top because rugby is a team sport!

It was an amazing weekend in Wellington. We Highlanders fans travelled to the 'away' final in our thousands.
