Jonah Lomu vs Bryan Habana. Who is a greater legend? For me it is Jonah Lomu no contest. If he had not had his kidney disease then I REALLY do believe he would have scored 25. . . .yes 25 World Cup trys over 4 World Cups (1995,1999,2003 and 2007).
Here is a wee taste of the Lomu documentary with some rare footage of him before his 20's. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lt8GRqHhaI4

- just a wee side comment. In this video you can also see at 5:30 a thing called 'All Black trials'
such a thing doesn't happen anymore.

To me it's kinda like Ronaldo vs. Klose.

Yeah.

To me you cant use team trophies to compare personal achievement . Many great players could be unfortunate to be struck with injury coming up to a wc etc and miss out.

While I agree, the question bears not "Who is the greater player" but rather, "Who is the greater legend?" I think winning a world cup adds to the legendary status of a player. I'm confident Lomu was better at his peak though. I don't like to compare players of any sport to one central value, but here I am haha.

Silly notion IMO. That has more to do with popularity than legendary status. Or is it the same thing really? For example, more people probably know about Nicklas Bendtner than Max Kruse. Doesn't mean the one is better/more of a legend for being more popular.

The Highlanders (Super Rugby Champions) will play the European Champions (French Club Toulon) on February 6 in Hong Kong.

It will be a pre-season match for the Highlanders.
The Six Nations will be on which means that Toulon will be missing their French players and with that comes a loss of some team Chemistry.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RC_Toulonnais#Current_squad
Toulon made some pretty interesting signings for the new season > https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_2015%E2%80%9316_Top_14_transfers#Toulon

The Highlanders may be in pre-season but I fully expect them to beat this depleted Toulon side. The Highlanders have lost only one player from last season ( Captain Nasi Manu - Edinburgh) and will have 5 All Blacks playing in the match in their backline (Aaron Smith, Lima Sopoaga, Malakai Fekitoa, Wasake Naholo and Ben Smith) + a few new potential 2016 All Blacks - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highlanders_(rugby_union)
