Samuel Umtiti

For Manchester United and PSG money is the only factor for world class players to play. Not for Barca, Bayern and Real. It's not like Bayern is offering him. Infact, they would never offer such a wage for Umtiti. Playing for Manchester and Barca cannot be comparable at all for a footballer's career.
unless he goes to X club and that club wins the UCL, Ronaldo is who he is because of manchester united, if he stayed there and won 2-3 more ucl's he would be an even bigger legend in football imo the ratings would say he is better than messi but because he went to real madrid, the messi comparison outweighs him, especially in the league etc.

Umtiti has stated multiple times he loves barca, but if he feels undervalued and feels the club doesn't care for his demands and someone else is offering 2x or maybe 3x what your getting paid it's easy for people to leave.

He will join Ramos in United

It is obvious that he wants to stay - he even says so in the interview with Canal+ (certainly more than he hints anything about a departure) - but right now he wants to take as much advantage of his favourable position as possible.

He wants to triple his salary? In the real world has anyone gone up to their boss and got this type of pay raise???

4 million net is max we should go.

LOL now 4 is max, a week ago 6 was max. Come on if MUN is offering 9mil I would say 6 is more than fair!

'If he feels undervalued'.

Agreeing to the wage of Pique, who has been the most intelligent defender (alongside Lahm) for Barca, which won 3 CL titles is undervalued?

Is it reasonable if we give all the starters in our team the wage of Iniesta and Suarez if they feel undervalued?

Didn't we marvel at the excellent wage structure of Bayern and even to a certain extent RM? They sold Kroos so that there won't be disruption in their excellent management of players.

If not giving a young defender who just completed one season at one of the Three Greatest clubs in the history of football the same value as of the club legend who came through the ranks of the club to become one of the greatest midfielder of all time, is considered undervalued by him, he can go to Manchester United.

If you think of it solely in terms of value to the club, he should be a top 4-5 paid player in the squad. The likes of Coutinho and Dembele warrant absolutely nothing over Umtiti in terms of wages yet they are paid far more.

Pay this man and lock him down for 5-6 years at least.

Then don't expect Alba, Stegen and Pique to be comfortable with their pay, as they'd be paid triple if they move to Manchester or Oil clubs. And most importantly, don't compare ourselves to the management to Bayern and worry that our wage structure has gone out or proportion. If he can't accept the wage of Pique who's a better defender and a club legend of our team, he can rot with Bailey and Lingard.

Coutinho is worth the higher wages and would get offered more elsewhere as well as Barca.

No team would pay anything close to 100m + on a CB like Umtiti but almost all would on Coutinho if felt needed him.

Not as simple as comparing them like for like.

Earlier today I was thinking what his hair was like and couldn't remember at all. Thought it was black and that he wasn't bald. All I could remember was that Puyol photoshop.

His reaction after the Ter Stegen mess-up was priceless

Loved his celebration of the own-goal, griping the crest - symbolism, anyone?
