Improved somewhat in second half but not enough to have a serious effect on the generally imploding defensive performance all around him.

Does anyone else having the feeling that Deschamps won't select select Umtiti ahead of Varane as a starter for the up-coming games in WC qualifers?

The latter has been quite irrelevent for Madrid during the last 2-3 seasons IMO.
