Sandro will stay imo. See, Munir is left footed and thus locked behind Messi who plays all the time.
Sandro plays on the left and can jump in when Neymar is being rested.

Btw. He was solid vs. Fiorentina

To be honest, both him and Munir didn't do anything at all vs Fiorentina. Munir has been a ghost this preseason, Sandro has had some good moments. Both did absolutely nothing vs Fiorentina though, seemed like they were afraid to do anything, especially Munir.

They are both still very young, but I don't see anything special in either of them. Can be good squad players like Tello, Jeffren and Bojan were before them. Deulofeu seemed to have the most talent and ability to turn into something special. Shame he didn't turn out like we hoped. Thiago has been the only youth product to really have the confidence AND talent to impose himself on the game since the initial Pep era squad.

I don't fully understand the insistence from people that Sandro's intelligence/technique is meh.

Observe his overall style of play here. He gets into very good positions for himself and defers to his teammates when he knows dwelling on the ball isn't the best option. His linkup is pretty impressive, his touch is good enough too. What is best about him is how dynamic he is. Every time he's in a 1v1 he can properly destabilize the fullback and move into good space (doesn't necessarily have to beat his man, just improve his position and progress the attack). Additionally, he knows exactly when to play with his back to goal for holdup play or linking with his teammates and when to play facing goal to receive a pass and open himself up to shoot. He's almost always positioned perfectly to take a killer shot in the box or at the edge. It's a skill in itself to be able to constantly get into deadly shooting positions and that's what he does, not to mention that the execution of his shots themselves are often pretty insane.

If you have Sandro in and you can ensure him at least decent service, you can expect that he'll be a constant danger. Even today he was involved in many great chances that got fucked up by his hesitant decision making or his teammates', despite the relative lack of creativity (2nd half had a midfield of Gumbau-Busi-Roberto after a bit) and the fact that he mostly played on the RW which is his weakest position by far.

Munir on the other hand is too often positioned with his back to goal and under pressure (even in midfield positions) and when he receives the ball he doesn't have many options and gets pushed off or fouled due to his weakness. He limits himself to tame/ineffective actions by doing this and that's why the post-September 2014 Munir is a radically different player to the Munir that devastated the UEFA Youth League and flew between levels to Barca's first team. It'd be awesome if he could regain that instinct and get the correct off-the-ball tendencies back but it's been almost a year already.

It's more wise to let Sandro be our first sub for MSN-trio instead of Pedro who deserves to leave us.

I think he played reasonably well. He is obviously not yet as good as Pedro but he makes up for it with with dedication... where Pedro would nowadays just shoot, Sandro actually looked up and saw players in a better position.

Sandro is looking like the tardigrade of football . He almost always looks at least pretty decent no matter the situation: 4-0 down to Athletic, playing friendlies, playing UCL/La Liga/CDR, playing with a capsizing B team in Segunda.

He puts effort and doesn't commit much errors, so yeah he looks pretty decent every time he plays. For now he could be a great sub, but the way he is never will be a starter. He needs lot of improvement.

Had a few good passes and turns, a decent cameo in a dreadful game, so that's a plus in my books.
