Well, let's hope Sandro is not part of the "Catalan scum" campaign. I doubt it, but you never know.

After the whole media fiasco Malaga will play good game against RM,if RM didn't lose any point (or we lost points) that won't make a difference as RM can settle for a draw
But if RM need a win then Malaga could very will our biggest hope, they are a good defending team with gr8 counter attack

As for Sandro he is gr8 this year, but he was beyond awful last year. There was no point of picking up his option last summer, it is like renewing him for 1 year just to try to sell him after abysmal year,no one was gonna pay shit for him.

Loaning him might have been a better option. We loan out everyone else, after all. Tello is still on loan to this day, lol.

True, we should have done more to extend his contract and then decide to loan him out if he really needed the playing time. His quality as a center forward is obvious.

Seriously? The guy was having huge troubles here and it was clear he couldn't wait to get out of the club, play in a team that suit him more with less pressure. Why on planet earth would he accept renewal? Just think like you are a player agent b4 suggesting those magic solutions we should have made

The guy was good when he was in the middle. He is not a winger obviously. And pressure wasnt the issue. He obviously had a lot of talent and I really hoped we would have done more to keep him. Always had a bad feeling that it would be a mistake to let him go on a free. A contract extension and a loan would have been the best solution. But he's gone and would be expensive to bring back. He cant be our Morata.

1-He has small release clause and is only 2 years in his contract, left on good terms. If we want him he will cost less than Morata for RM
2-The best for us isn't the best for him, no way we could have extended his contract. He had no reason to do so
3-Sandro wasn't good last season at any position he played,he missed easy sitters that had nothing to do with positions. He was simply mentally drained here. A factor that many people underestimate. Have been his biggest fan since 2013 but his career here wasn't meant to be. Winger or in the middle he was just flat out bad last year.
4-I highly doubt we will bring him anyway. He is more suited for club like Malaga for now, not for a possession type of team.

I'd like to stay positive too, but there are serious chances they will throw the game. I've read they are to receive 1m. for Isco if Madrid win the league. If that's true, I'm sure they can find a way to lose while looking competitive and taking that paycheck.

I would like to add:

5 - His celebration against Barca closed the door completely. He apologized, but nonetheless it was a real celebration, there was a lot of bitterness at that moment. Obviously he could improve even further but in some other rival club. Valencia, Atletico Madrid, Villareal... could be even Real Madrid just to annoy us, not that he'd get minutes in that squad.
