The image rights being paid to Neymar would result in higher wages though.
Each transfer is different and they do what they need to to get it done.

Wagner Riberio already had a deal set up with Florentino. He wanted Neymar to join RM as he probably would have cashed in a bigger amount of money as well in fees. Of course, Neymar joined us and didnt listen to Riberio so I reckon the club told him to GTFO and thats why his fee was so low compared to what agents usually get.
I don´t agree to that. That statement is what led barça to give 40M + Etoo for Zlatan. Horrible deal even before Zlatan started to play.

For all we know, Madrid played Barca here. I mean why would they even pursue Neymar, if not just to artificially raise his transfer fee? He plays in Cristiano's position lol, I highly doubt they really wanted him considering the issues it would cause with the main man.
Bale earns 1 million higher than Neymar per year, Madrid probably earn anywhere between 3-6 million per year atm from Bale's image rights, with that number likely to go up. Barca earn 0M from Neymar's image rights.

I doubt Real played Barca here, that is getting a bit far fetched.
Gareth Bale earns about 100k euros a week more than Neymar I think, so that is close to 5m a year not 1m.

Neymar earns 44M over 5 years = 8.8M/yr. Gareth Bale does not earn 13.8M/yr for sure, that is Messi and Ronaldo range, Ronaldo's recent bumper contract is worth 15M/yr.
From what I've read, Bale earns around 10M/yr.

Bale is on £300k a week which is around 363k euros. He is getting 90m in wages over 6 years.
Neymar is on around 270k a week.

This was known since day one, it's nothing new. I dont know if you didn't follow the deal back then, but it was clear from the start neymar was getting 40m from the 57m. I dont know why you're reacting like that just now.

The only thing new to me is that N&N might have conections with santos, and that maybe some of that money went to santos.
And just to clarify, I understand why rosell paid the 40m. I don't agree or think it's ok to throw that amount of money around, but that's football, and this isn't new...
