Sandro Rosell resigns, Bartomeu is the new president

86.2m, which includes transfer fees AND wages. I don't believe why we would pay 9m for two friendlies that we are going to honor.

Transfer fees alone would be 57.1m.

86.2 includes peripheral investments and commissions, those are never included in the transfer fee numbers published for any player when they sign for a new club. They're counting money payed for charity for pete's sake. If Madrid were forced to make public every single dealing surrounding the signings of each of their players, you'd see similar dealings around the actual transfer fee, driving the total price of the signing way beyond the publish amount.

The agent fee was cheap. I take it that given the purchase fee paid to his parents, FC Barca is now the parent of Neymar Jr.

All these costs seem reasonable, given the global significance of this player. When you look at Bale's acquisition, this one seems a bargain. I'm a big Bale fan, but billions more people will turn on the TV for a Neymar game than for a Bale game.

Poor Rosell must have hated being President, being sued personally, his family being shot at, slander against him published all over the world without end. I'm sure he thought that he personally was attracting bad consequences for the club and his family, that both would be better off with him resigning. He was not even receiving pay for being President.

The 57M number is bogus and made to deceive.

All i know is that Neymar´s signing is cost Barça 86M euros. Period. Fees and bonuses and all that "peripheral" crap as you naivelly insist to call it.

All of that is money.

In my view paying all that for Neymar is outrageous. If others were willing to offer more, Madrid for instance, let them take the player. Too much money it´s my final standing on this.

I dont get it the 40M to N&N ( it´s neymar fathe and mother LOL). And the reason is this: Neymar was 55% Santos ( the club) + 45% DIS ( a investment group) + 5% Teisa (another investment group). 55+45+5 =100 % of the player.

So why the hell does the fathers of Neymar receives 40M euros? In what ground? Because of what?

And one more thing: Neymar did all of this and, OF COURSE, get a big chunk of all this.

It's not bogus. If we had access to Alexis or Cesc full numbers, like this, they wouldn't be much different. The transfer fee was 57.

As lewandowski didn't go for free to bayern as well. That's how things work in football. If you think it's not, you're being naive.

You are the naive one. I read many of you claiming that N&N are a " 3rd party". LOL. It´s neymar´s fathers for god sake. They had 0% of the player but they received 40 Million euros.
Explain this, please.

Of course Lewandowski did not went for free. They paid him and his agent loads of money. Duh. In my country the 3 major clubs are in the stock market so every contract is made public. So dont talk to me about being naive. I know how these things work.

But of the 57M, 40 were for Neymar´s fathers. This is outrageous.

N&N had 40% of the rights for Neymar IIRC, hence they are referred as a 3rd party and got paid.

Edit: On another thought, it seems like thats not the case.

How can they have 40% of the rights and get paid 40M while Santos got paid 17M only? It's impossible. That would mean Santos only owned 17% of Neymar.

It would also mean that Neymar's transfer fee would be 100M, not 57.1M.

According to this, 100% of Neymar should only cost 17M. The 40M to N&N is probably entirely different.

DIS owned 40% of Neymar. DIS at first thought Santos recieved 57m and together with Barca hid the truth to avoid paying them.

DIS reportedly owned 40% of Neymar's rights up until this week, and therefore would have expected to receive a share of €22.8 million from the transfer. However, Moreno said DIS were to receive only €9.6 million from Santos [40% of €17 million].
"We saw on the television that Barça have said the transfer was done for €57 million," Moreno said. "And here Santos are talking about €17 million. We feel tricked. Santos is leaving out the truth so that the investors receive less."
