My penya has received a message from delegates of Sandro Rosell, he is looking to improve the situation of socis living abroad and the equality of the penyes and has asked for our problems, suggestions and comments on how it is being a foreign soci. We may even get a meeting with the main man himself some time in the near future!

Awesome stuff Adam, that would be amazing if you could meet with him. Nice that he's taking an interest in the foreign fans, look forward to how he might seek to address the problems.

Or engaging the electorate and a demographic that has genuine concerns and demands of a new president? Of course he wants our votes but none of the others have come to us to ask what we think needs to be done and choosing to actually approach the voters rather than conduct his business via the pages of MD and Sport is a big positive in my opinion.

My family hate the man and my father in law and brother in law amongst others are going to vote for another candidate.

Myself I have no real opinion on the man but I can see why people hate his campaign.

Who do they suggest voting for? I'd be interested to know just why they dislike Rosell so much.

Not quite sure if it's 100% true, but there is that issue of him not supporting Rijkaard after his bad start. Laporta is already playing that against him by repeating that the club needs patience.
Other than that I think he is still the best candidate and besides who else is there. The current board wants continuity and can't even decide on a candidate. Godall or Ferrer. Sparks are already flying and it is Godall who started some accusations.

Ah yeah, he did go through that phase of somewhat obsessive anti-Laporta outbursts. I wasn't very impressed with that either but I'll still probably end up voting for th guy because as Bojan says, who else is there? It will be interesting to hear what Ferran Soriano has to say because he seems the only viable alternative to Sandro right now, the two current board members aren't presidential material and in terms of how the club interacts with supporters, the clarity of operations etc. I believe we need a change.

1. The speach Laporta gave to the association of Penyas was a disgrace. The relationship between the board and a lot of the worldwide penyas needs a lot of work after that outburst.


I have had a meeting with Sandro regarding some FCB and Nike ventures here in Florida. He is open, transparent, not full of himself.

The man is so well connected in the world of sports both with agents, Nike, other clubs.




Ferrer did his campaign a lot damage by saying hed keep Txiki. He doesnt have any ideas on how to grow the FCB brand, how to run the other sections besides futbol, how to fix the palau etc.
