There are too many people on here who take any criticism of a Barca player as someone kindof statement of you not being loyal, just being a hater, even if your a Barca fan.

Sorry elricho if you felt an insult or anything,I never disrespected a comment here,anyway as for Mascherano we clearly needed a player in that position after yaya's departure,we looked at players like senna,diarra,other cheap options bec they could have welcomed the barca bench with open arms and bec we saved some money for cesc so after the break up in cesc's negotiations,we said what about buying who may hep sergio even more,Javier had to concentrate only in defending at pool and ham,maybe thats why you felt he is not a good passer,in every si gle game this season,he proved to be anawesome passer,proved to be a better long passer than our first choice Dmf,he will even get better ,learn to limit his,no of tackles here,he is a world class dmf but I doubt he will ever become first choice,here
adriano was only brought as a squad player,he proved to be a very good one so far,he provides another dimension than mzx and abi,he is versatile and a very good addition,btw why are we discussing it here,both were pep's transfers not,sandro's

As a club in general we've always had a tendency to pay over the odds for really crappy players. Eddie made a post in one of the threads ages ago, it was quite an eye opening list of how much we've spent and on who.

Mascherano is of the highest standard. When he is on the field, the FCB defense is better. He is still learning to play with this team, and with La Liga refs. In 2011-2012 season, I bet he starts most of the games, including quite a few games with both him and Busquets on the field at the same time.
Adriano has played so rarely, I can't tell much about him, but he seems to duplicate Maxwell. The team does not need both unless Alves leaves. Adriano has shown some flashes.

been watchin mascherano since 07 and he is certainly not of the highest standard. he is half decent at best. id say you could count the amount of match's you seen him play in on both hands.
