Serge Aurier had an interview with JeuneAfrique.com

Here's my translation:

JA: PSG has exercised its purchase option (10M euros) on you since you were only in loan from Toulouse. They did it even if you didn't play much this season....

Serge: That's true that I didn't play as much as I wanted. I got injured. There was the AC, and on top of that, there's a competition between players in PSG. That said I think I did well enough. I did 5 assists in Ligue 1, and if PSG decided to use its purchase option, it means they were happy enough woth my performances, and that they believe in me.

(So we learned the purchase option was not a mandatory clause. We suspected it since Toulouse said so too. PSG had the choice).

Landing in a dressing room full of stars like Ibra, TS, Pastore, Matuidi or Cavani, was not a bit intimidating for a young player like you?

From the outside, you can imagine that you can't easily interact with them. Well, that in fact isn't true at all! There's a good ambiance in the dressing room, and it pleases me. Yes there are a lot of stars that won lots of trophies, but what is real fine with them, is that they always want to win. They want to win titles. They are real pros. All that helps me to improve, and that will be of good use for the next season. To be clear, it isn't because you do one bad pass that they will start yelling at you. To be honest, I didn't have any difficulty to get accustomed to them.

PSG could win his 4th title this season if they beat Auxerre, and there are lots of rumors about Ronaldo, Di Maria, Alves, even Xavi....

Well, to win another national trophy after the Trophée des Champions, The League Cup, and the League Title, it would be something historical for the club. PSG project is clear tho: to win the CL. And each year, you can expect great players to land here. It's a big club with a big ambition, and that has the means to be amongs the best. The level is very high here. I feel perfectly fine with that.

Hervé Renard left his job as a coach of the Côte d'Ivoire after less than one year. He's now Lille's coach. What do you think about it?

I am sad because he's very important to me. He has always put so much confidence in me, even when I was not playing a lot with PSG. The real problem here was the CA Fed that didn't do anything to keep him. They didn't give him all the tools to do an even better job there. If I had to say it, I think they did everything they can for him to leave. He managed to reach success with the CA during the AC while it was nowhere near easy. We worked like madmen in Dubaï to get ready, and finally we won it. To bad we have the feeling that in CA, they are people that think more about their own interests than playing it fair collectively.

You're talking about the players and staff bonus?

Yep. What happened is abnormal. It's sad. It was just about showing some respect. Personally, I don't live out of the bonus I get from winning with the national team. What i seek here are just good moments. But I think about the other players to which those bonus are really important. There are people among the CA board that show no respect to the players. You work hard to win the AC, but what do you get in return?...

What has happened could have a negative impact on the national team?

You can expect it. Personally, I'm not sure that I will play that friendly against Gabon on June 12. What happened about the bonus, and Renard make me think about it. You know we're talking about it a lot between teammates. I'm not alone to feel sad, and betrayed. You can expect to see people from the dressing room trying to take charge of the NT. I didn't say anything till now, but i think that's the right time to do it. Because what happened can endanger the team. We need changes. And we need it quick.

LOL, I said we should buy him when he was playing for Toulouse. What do we do? We buy freakin' Douglas instead.

People just want players from EPL and PSG. Its a sad situation. We have completely abandoned the French market and have no scouts at all.

I did mention Aurier back then as well :c
Fucking André Ayew last season too, polyvalent, clutch, free agent (Marseille's business sense strikes again), Lucho would have loved that guy.
Even more than Gumbau.

If we had bought him then we wouldn't have seen the revelation that Sergi Roberto turned out to be ;)

It's on French with no English subtitles at all, but here's the original video of what I mentioned above.

"Great" job from Aurier to cause some discord in the dressing room within few days before the CL-game against Chelsea...
