Yeah, but that's Sergi for you... It's like Puyol, we all know once a season he has a dismal game in the less convenient time, or like Valdés when he just passes to the opposition to score an easy goal, or like our whole team in Januay/February streak from hell or playing against Atlético away... But then you look back and realize those lapses mean nothing in the bigger picture and aside from those mistakes they've been the best there can be in their positions...

I must admit that Sergi's lapses are hilarious, though... I see Pep losing hair every time they happen, hahahaha...

He did well enough most of last year (red card against Real excepted) and during the World Cup. One might even say he had a breakout season. I certainly wouldn't bench Biscuits - not that there's much choice at this point, with Yaya Toure having been sold.

Aside from his dives, he is world class and deserved in our starting XI. You couldn't ask for a more pestering DM. It's his footballing intelligence that wins back most of the balls he loses. Another reason he is so valued.
