You could also see Masch is still very tentative out there...When he came on, he almost tried to appear anonymous out there and not influence the match too much let alone make an error.
As for Biscuit, I concur wholeheartedly that he played very well...But, at the same time, he really didn't have much work to do as a holding midfielder let alone defense...Didn't really have to win any balls and was rarely under much pressure on the ball...Still, he sprayed those passes around very well...I like the maturity in his game and hope he keeps it up

Played great today. Mascherano has to improve his passing if he wants to take this man's spot. And I realized that today how important his short passes to Xavi and Iniesta are, though they don't seem impressive, it's very important and he does it so well. Holds the ball until the right time to give it over to Xavi or Iniesta.

Well, he didnt have to win balls in his own half, but he did win everything in their half. Amazing stuff. Masch can become a very exciting sidekick but he'll always boss that midfield.

I just bought a pair of Nike CTR360 boots like the ones Busi use (for artificial turf, though), and I can tell you he was the reason why I made the choice... Seriously, this guy has become my favourite player...

I was about to buy a pair of blue Total 90 ones, but the image of Sergi dominating with the CTR360 won me over... Besides I few months ago I changed my number from 13 (which I had used my whole life) to 16, so why the hell not get the boots too?

Apparently, the Biscuit offered to play for the U-21...In particular, to fortify Spain against Croatia on October 7, 2010...Del Bosque approached Hierro on the matter but apparently a decision was ultimately made against it...Not sure who made that decision...Nevertheless, the gesture from the Biscuit is noteworthy, IMHO...Class from the kid
