We've lost a lot of big games and it was never his fault, don't know why now would be different.

Would prefer him not starting and the rest of the team playing well and win 3-0 so maybe Xavi would finaly see we don't need him to win.

It's clear what goes on in Xavi's mind:

1. Frenkie is going to be tried at DM more often now, or until Xavi has made up his mind. This is probably orders from above because the lack of cash.
2. Busi is still his favourite DM in the tough games.

Ergo, Busi won't start every match anymore, but he will start the hardest games. This in hope that Frenkie can take over the starting position at DM for when Busi leaves, thus saving money.

That happened already thrice, but xavi just dont want to see it. Maybe if he fucks up in this final now his eyes would open, but i doubt it becase madrid are equally shit as we are and their pressing and intensity is nowhere near of those we meet in european games. Eth would target him badly in europa league and we would suffer greatly, thats for sure.

tbf, for current season I take this as a win.
Just hope he does the the right thing and go get cash in retirement league next season.

best not write him off just yet, he's got that Iron Mike old man strength

watch him sign the All Yssrr contract, put on a few pounds on his lanky frame and turn into a beast in the House of Saud

reminder: Alistair O also started off as tall n wiry

Terrorist.
Didn't actually cause a goal but didn't help at all. As most times nowadays.
No point for that sub.
What is Xavi thinking? Is he just being arrogant and tries to be proven right?

Once a king always a king. Busquets and Frankie with Pedri ahead of them is our best midfielder trio .. Gavi can play as a RM/RW

Busi played 88.9 mins / game in 2021-22 in La Liga

So far he is at 73.5 mins / game

Pedri is at 75.6 mins / game

Gavi is at 58 mins / game

De Jong is at 69.2 mins / game

He is playing a lot less than before. Both him and Jordi Alba. Coupled with Pique being pushed out, I'd say the rejuvenation is nearly complete. The Torres transfer is a hard pill to swallow though.

Still 73.5 mins/game too much.

If he will be a liability even surrounded with 3 midfielders that can run, Pedri, Gavi and De Jong then he is really big liability.
