nope,he was That bad,missed too many balls in dangerous parts on pitch,didnt have his antetear-esque positioning and the worst part when he tried to dribble past defenders which meant that yesterday we lacked his best merit his simple neat passes

The above line-up will make us more vulnerable at defending set-pieces if we aren't already. There needs a balance when more than half the team is aerially weak.

He offers aggression AND skills. Goes about his job effectively without getting much in to the referee's book. His antics means more possession while annoying the opposition and their fans. He's a starting DM for the European and World Champions. So No, he doesn't play due to the young promising factor. He plays cause hes a proven DM at the highest level. He just suits us better.
Mascherano was bought as back-up DM and thts what he'll be for all his time here. Its time all his fans accept it already!
