for me, he is like a good referee - the less you notice on pitch, the better he is. he does his job with such fluidity.

he was too careless (again) gave away some balls but one he won back lead to a goal so no real complaints. he just tries to show off too much for me

Decent today. But had one AWFUL backwards header that went straight to a racing player. He used to do this a lot, and it often led to a goal.

As quality as he is, he is still pulling that cute "holding on to the ball too long" and "trickery for no reason but to please the crowd" bullshit that needs to stop. Otherwise, he is one of our most talented players. Top tier.

Actually and surprisngily enough, his bone headedness NEVER leads to an opponent goal as far as I've seen. He has a boat load of occurrences but it's amazing that they never lead to goals. That just goes to show that he tries really hard to get the ball back and his teammates have him backed up.

Yes it did, twice. One I remember very well he headed it straight to a Depor player, who passed to Guardado -> golazo. We won 3-1. so who gives a fuck?

Given the amounts of times he pulls over dramatized plays, it could be much worse than two times. Who gives a fuck?! I'm not sure what you mean by that but if you are saying that it's not big a deal for him to pull that stuff in games, then "I do". It should not be part of a world class player repoirtoie to pull needless and over the top plays to get the job done. His simplicity is superb and all he needs to get the job done, he doesn't need to resort to silly tactics to move the ball around ro find a player, wouldn't you agree?

After all you said yourself his errors caused two goals. Lucky it wasn't in a CL final or other important game right.

it wasn't Guardado. and that was equally Abidal's fault, as his defending after the dodgy back-header was pathetic.
