I mean what do you expect from Catalan Journalists?
A lot of them are nothing but shitheel pricks who only look out for the locals while proceeding to shit on everyone else and likely think we foreigners are not "Real" Fans. Like I said before, it's amazing how much protection Busi gets, can't even have a hashtag that says "Bench Busi" without these guys getting their panties in a bunch and circling the wagons to protect a player who is costing us big time.

Club and the media are so far in with Busis 'unique skill set' they cant see the wood for the trees.
The argument that there is no Busquets like for like replacement as justification for playing him and just glossing over his errors is ridiculous.
Xavi had a 'unique skill set' but he had clearly declined and could no longer cope regularly at top level.. to be replaced with Rakitic in CM playing a different role and winning the treble.
Barca and its media are so far up their own arse with this idea of DNA it holds them back.
I say that with not even being biggest fan of Rakitic at all but it shows how easy it is to make positive changes in comparison to what is made out. When players legs have gone.

Interesting how Busi pretty much created this specific role that only he can fulfill himself, and then that is forever used as an argument why he can't be replaced because no one else is like him. Can't think of any other player where that's the case.
But either way Busi can't play forever, so either find an exact clone or we will have to change it up. And there is really no argument for this being impossible, Pep didn't have another Busquet at every team, Barca played with other DMs before, Ajax didn't always use a Busquets etc.
Dude was great for us, but at one point we have to move on.

Woke up and checked Twitter and see the Catalan Journalists circling the Wagons again while getting ratio'd in the processed 
We have probably the worst group of Veterans out of all the top teams right now along with a large segment of the fanbase that believes Busi is still untouchable.

Nothing is going to change until Xavi realizes Busquets is at the stage, or actually at a worse stage than he was when we brought in Rakitic as his replacement and Xavi had a role from the bench.

By the way, let me remind people that one of our board members, Jose Elias, said that Barca made the right decision not to renew Messi because he's old and we need to move on anyway. Said a rebuild is not possible with a player his age on the team. Which I think is fair. No problem with that statement.
Yet....... Busquets and Pique we are content with staying on until 2023 and 2024, in Busquets' case possibly even an additional year till 2024. Not even making an effort to gradually replace them with both pretty much nailed-on starters for the team whenever they are available, even if they just return from an injury.
There's no consistency there.
