Sergio Busquets

The only chance the media get to praise Busquets in Barcelona is when he gets heavily criticized.

As then they respond in cliches/generalisations about 'legend' or 'unique skill set' etc and not actually focus on performances week in week out.

The best hope is Busi throws his dummy and tries to leave despite thinking himself as a top player.

More and more Busi propaganda popping up now that he's getting criticized. Weird reaction really.

I feel there are 3 camps:
1. Busi is still good. Arguments like "all coaches like him".
2. Busi needs to be changed but we have no replacement, so he has to play
3. Busi needs to go no matter what

2 & 3 are an overwhelming majority. What worries me is the #1's who fail to see that Busi is a big liability, and they're spreading the propaganda now that that banquillo trend is big.

Where is that propaganda?
On this site, I think there is only me and maybe 5 regular posters who somewhat defend him.
Just check what is written ITT after last game! Only one madridista who really defend him, and then you find more posts about "how he escapes criticism" than posts not criticizing him...

My propaganda is not at all focused on the coaches liking him as that is a bit of a shit argument. I point out what he does better than anyone, his unique strengths, and why his weaknesses are still more to do with his surroundings and the manager. It is of course curious that he was never in 13 years time disregarded in club or country by at least 10+ coaches playing all their different systems and styles.

Remember when Bartomeu released that report about how the majority of the criticism aimed at him and the club were bots and foreigners.

Bartomeu might have ruined the club , but he knew how the game worked. All you have to is big up the Catalans and call out anything negative coming from bots , foreigners and not real fans.

This is why a lot of people think barca is a shit destination full of stuck up assholes and much prefer Madrid. I know I did, the difference between the locals attitudes were night and day.

No offence to any locals here was just the general experience me and others have experienced.

And then they found out that he had paid foreign guys to criticize some of the players, many of them catalan.

It's done

🗣️[ @fansjavimiguel🥇] | Xavi has it clear: Busquets and ten other players safe. Sergio Busquets is not only the captain of FC Barcelona, but also the extension of Xavi Hern?ndez on the pitch, according to the Egarense.

🎙[ @gerardromero ] | Javi Martinez: ?Whoever campaigns against Busquets on social media has no idea about his life. As long as the team does not leave much empty space, as is happening in the Spain NT and now in Xavi?s Bar?a, there will be no better player in that position.?

Stunning endorsement

"As long as the rest of the team perfectly covers Busquets he doesn't get exposed" Stunning observation.

Can't decide what's more embarrassing, fans trying to push out a player via twitter or all these journalists coming out to suck him off just because he gets criticized for once.

Surely Catalan journalists are saving his ass but that was his former NT team mate Javi Martinez so not's really surprising he's defending Busi.

What's the worst in all of this is our coach is also a former Busi team mate and amigo who is delusional enough to believe he can still be a key player for this team in 2022.

Yeah but it's just ridiculous what's going on since the clasico, you'd mean we talk about prime Messi the way he's worshipped

We'll see how Xavi handles this, would be pretty optimistic to think he can go into next season with 34 year old Busi as his only plan for DM but it seems like that's exactly what he'll do.
