True enough Maz. Damn, im still upset to see Toure go, i need counselling. Busquets is improving all the time and while i agree with what you said, I think he is slwoly and surely proving doubters (and yes, that includes me) wrong

I never doubted Yaya's ability,He is probably one of the best midfielders in the world,he is a living legend for Barca,he has superb matches with as a DMF and as a CB but still his best matches for me was at the CMF and I would have liked him to stay to Rotate with Xavi(who cant play all matches),but Pep's prefer Busquetes as our DMF so we should support him,at the start of the season he made some faults but now its easy to conclude why Pep loves him so much,defensive midfielders usually dont get the credit they deserve,especially if they prefer to help more in the build up rather than going forward(like Busquetes does)but what I have seen from Busquetes's haters is too much.I also like to add his Old Trafford performance to that where he most certainly played DM in our memory.
But Mido might disagree.

Yayá may not have had the best season, but players have dips in form. They don't become worse players that quickly. Not unless it's a very rare circumstance (e.g. ronnie with his lack of training, his partying and everything else). Yayá needs a change of scenery and lots of game time, so yes I still say he is a better player than busquets even if busquets' form is better right now.

and its not like yaya has been poor in all the matches.
he bossed at least 5 matches this season.
it wouldve been perfect if we had busi and yaya in the midfield and xavi and iniesta the creative force.
just look at spain.sigh. not saying that they're better but
as you can see the midfield is packed. there is no way through it.

There have actually been a few people doing that
. The problem is that he has received an unimaginable amount of garbage from an enormous amount of people, which has been at times rather undeserved and even unnecessary. Busi has shown a great amount of maturity over the past few months and has been extraordinary for Spanish NT, just by quietly going around his own business and not resolving to any of his peek-a-boo antiques (I still loved him sending off Motta - such a git). Getting praise from Del Bosque himself by saying that "if I would be a player, I would probably be Busquets". You don't get people to say that just for the shits and giggles of it.
I'm extremely satisfied with the fact that he has proven (and still is proving) lots of people and their mothers wrong, by having such a consistent WC and being one of the best performers for Spain so far.
Oh, and let's not turn this into another Yaya vs. Busquets debate - aight? Both have their pro's and con's, but the fact remains that Yaya's in Man City now and Busquets is still a Barça player. Support your team and those individuals forming your team, over any other player.
