Alba just edges Ramos out on the night, in defense, for me...but just...He played very well although I still contend it's been a mistake to leave him in the center of defense...The Panenka was ballsy, he doesn't lack in confidence, does he?

Agreed Ramos at centre back is magnificent. Not many better.

His pace is what sets him apart, it gives him the ability to choose if he wants to take the attacker on straight away or just run beside him and wait for a better opportunity. Pique is always worried that someone's going to run past him, so he has to commit himself. It also means Ramos can atone for random brainfarts.

He certainly was one of the better guys out there.the way he blocked the ball with his nose lol reminded me kind of Puyol. he gave his all. All he needs is a brain transplant and then we can sign him.

Actually if he stops being a psycho and concentrate on his game, he's a very very good defender. Mourinho attitude is keeping him behind what he can really be.
