Sergio Ramos

Someone should do a compilation of his mistakes in defense. His defending is horrible sometimes.
He can be a really good defender but for me he is not wc. His goal record really overshadows that.

Honestly S.Ramos is that defender that loves to gamble his moments. that arrogance and his over confidence can just kill every positive aspect of him being a great defender....then he gets booked.

One of the few RM players I actually genuinely like. I might be in a minority on that though

He kind of reminds me of a very, very watered down version of David Luiz. He gets "hero syndrome" once in a while especially after he scores a goal.

Yesterday's game against La Real, he scored a goal and then proceeded to be directly responsible for letting in 2.

Without those crazy headers he is not that great. Pique and Ramos are at same level now imo. But Ramos scores and Pique does not. Vermaelen can score headers to make up for it but he is forever injured.

What did Ronaldo say about Flo's transfers?

There is a core group of players that have been friends for a long time and this was important for us winning the CL. Ronaldo lost many of his best friends in Real Madrid and players that respected him and did everything for him, so he always showcases his support for them. He lost Ozil, which, ironically enough, angered Ramos a lot and he spoke about it. Casillas was attacked and Ronaldo was not very happy with it. This season Ronaldo lost Di Maria and Xabi Alonso, both players who were not his best buddies, the same way Marcelo is (Ronaldo always sides with Marcelo over Coentrao, his countryman), but players who made him a Ballon d'Or winner and a CL champion with Real Madrid.

Ronaldo is not the selfless player who is a die-hard Madridista and he shares the blame for a few things at the club but he has always taken the side of the players who were more loyal to the team, squad, club, and who were the most dedicated. He even stood in the face of his other countryman, Mourinho, when it mattered. I respect both Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos, beyond their good and bad performances. They are special characters and strange personalities, on and off the field but they are very professional and they both very dearly adore the club and its best interest.

There won't be any drama, they know each other very well and respect each other a lot.

What did Ronaldo say about Flo's transfers?

Cristiano Ronaldo bit his tongue on being asked about the changes in the Real Madrid squad which won the Décima, though he let it be seen that he is not entirely happy: "I have a very definite opinion, but I am not always allowed to say what I think. Otherwise, tomorrow I'd be on the front pages of all the papers and I don't want that", he said.
"If I were in charge, perhaps I wouldn't have done it like this. But if the President thinks that the best thing for the team is to sign the players he signed, and let others leave, then his decisions must be respected and supported", he said, during an event held at the Jarama motor racing circuit by the watch company Tag Heuer.
He admitted that with the new players, Real Madrid's style of play will change. "With the new players, our style is going to change, but it might change for the better or for the worse. Let's hope it will be for the better because they are top quality players. What usually happens is that they adapt well. Di María and Xabi Alonso were very important to us, but they aren't here anymore and we have to be happy with the newcomers. I'm sure that things will go well for us".
Of his injury, he said that he expects to recover completely during the international break. "I am doing very specific exercises. Yesterday I started running again. I'm sure that in a week I'll be back to one hundred per cent", he said.
Asked about the signing of Javier 'Chicharito' Hernández, he said he hopes he will bring a lot to the squad: "One more player to help the team. I wish him great success and that he will be a big help to us".

Hard to think of a WC centre back. I would have Ramos in my team everyday, though. Thiago Silva, Kompany etc make loads of errors too. I think defenders are inclined to take risks these days

Woah lol don't get crazy now. Ramos on his day can be a very, very good center back right now. Pique needs to get that back. As of now I'd definitely rate Ramos over Pique.

Ramos can sometimes be a world class player. But sometimes he is pure shit. At present not many world class center backs. That is the problem. But Pique and Ramos are not far apart. If Pique is concentrated i would say both are at same level.

There is not much difference between them imo. I will take Hummels over both though..
