Serie A 2012/2013

A mass exodus of 10+ players, most key the season before. De Jong out for the season, to reach third place is unbelievable. Wage bill is massively reduced & now we get the CL money. In a season of transition of mammoth proportions to reach 3rd is a great achievement.

Of course. I just couldn't resist :p

Well its true that it wasn´t a Penalty though and Milan probably wouldn´t have won the match without it.So yeah Fiorentina got robbed of their place.

What else is new, it's Serie A and Milan - gifted is understating it...Football, overall, is chalk full of corruption but it's not like any other industry that involves this much money

Thumbs up for this btw. I got infractions in here a year ago when i related Italy with corruption (and it made me stop posting until now), b/c some italian felt offended by it. Its good to see that there are still italians with open eyes out there ...

Jesus, get a grip people.

What about Balotelli being suspended for four games for swearing at the ref, missing the biggest games of the season Napoli, Juventus. Why was Balotelli made the example of & not Vucinic or Totti who are alot worse, week in week out, particularly Vucinic who is so blatant.

What about the two penalties given to Fiorentina, we had more legit shouts, all turned down, why?

What about the red card on Muntari in the first half vs Roma. 3rd place is sewn up providing we beat them, why if it's a major conspiracy are they sending us down to ten in the first half, making it unlikely?

I could go on and on with hundreds of more examples, but in the end people will see what they want to see, it seems when they write on there little notepads everything that goes for, they conveniantely forget everything against.

Also el tren i remember your post on Vidal, why would he leave Leverkusen to Juventus, backwards league yada yada yada. most rolleyed post i've ever seen, it's clear you don't like Serie A.

and as far as ejuventus conspiracy nonsense goes, he needs to look no further than last seasons clear goal against juventus to probably clinch the title, ruled out. I'd like to hear him explain it, it would be Interesting.

It all evens out, we got a few soft penaltys, i could list hundreds of things that went against us over the course pretty easily. But it's boring, refs are people who make mistakes.

Am I really learning that every team has had favours like Ac Milan have?

Wasn't there here a Fiorentina ' s supporter? Maybe things seen from near are clearer.

I repeat that I regret for Mr. Montella (good manager and a gentleman) and most Fiorentina players.
I'm instead really happy for Fiorentina owners, the supporters, and players like Viviano: they can only offend Juve, the historic base of italian football, while all the others are ruining it. To all of them I say take the "good" side of italian fooball.

About corruption and Mr. Berlusconi, only MessiXaviGirl in the world seems not to know the connection.
I'm not saying that there was direct corruption in this case, if you want to know, 'cause I have not seen Berlusconi or some of his men giving money to ref. It is a general talking.
I don't give a damn if there was corruption or not in this case. It's sufficient what Berlusconi has done during the last 30 years in Italy, not only in football.

You still conveniently fail to address the game Milan-Fiorentina though. Why, because the events in that match go against your argument?

Sure, there's a great chance that yesterday's game was fixed, but for now let's not rant about it on here unless an investigation is started. I'm also not saying that Berlusconi is not a corrupt man, it is clear what he's done in many cases, but that is not what we are discussing.

I'm not sure why you come here only to post stuff like this... again it seems to serve no purpose other than winding up other clubs' fans. If you don't give a damn like you say, why do you keep posting it?

I've never mentioned corruption about Fiorentina - Ac Milan

I only said that I'm happy for their owners, most of their supporters, and some players of them: all of them use to talk bad about Juve without ever mention who is really ruining italian football.
I just regret for Mr. Montella and most of the team, who played brilliant and correct football all the year. They really deserved it.

You're still missing my point entirely... anyway, I'm just playing devil's advocate. I hate Milan, don't care if they get busted for corruption or otherwise. :)

Lindsay, everyone can readily acknowledge you are a massive Serie A fan which, IMHO, makes you coloured with enough bias to not be in a position to dictate the scope of conversations regarding corruption in Italian football - something that is not merely conjecture...Among the biggest leagues in the world, none are guilty of as much historical corruption than Serie A...Calciopoli, Golden fix era of the 60s, Totonero corruption scandal and Scommessopoli to name just a few...that anyone can prove

Since you're a big Inter fan too, you read Almeyda's book?...Here's a player who spent most of his career in Serie A and had a scathing rebuke on everything associated with Italian football, calling it 'rotten & corrupt to the core' - doping, matchfixing, bribery and corruption...So let's not pretend this is not more than insensitivity to some of the very few Italian club supporters on a Barcelona forum
