Good to hear Bove is out of intensive care and progressing well. Hate hearing this sort of stuff and life is far far more important than football.

There have been plenty of football player tragedies and near-tragedies.

Atalanta play Madrid in a week. Looking forward to Madrid getting destroyed once again.

I think they have a really good chance of doing it. They've been a quality side for a fair amount of time now, and won't be overawed playing a not-functioning Real Madrid.

Edit - for some reason I thought Atalanta were away midweek, they're at home. Even greater opportunity to beat Real.

Anyone else watched the game today? Terrible football.

BBilan is the perfect example of the sissified american sports mentality. Constantly rolling around the pitch, no actual skill. How can anyone be a fan of a team like that.

Atalanta was just cold. They can definitely beat Vardrid or us if they up the finishing.

This Milan has no mentality at all. They used to be a powerhouse but the players look like they are playing for some Serie C club. 1-1 against Atalanta and they are not interesed even a little bit to take the lead. Trying to sit back and just wait to get pumped. Most their fans are there from the glorious days, this Milan today is nothing to cheer for.

There is plenty of skill there. Reijnders, Leao, Theo, Pulisic, Morata... but you cant make much of it with a coach like Fonseca. Lucky win against that shitty Real will unfortunately keep him alive.

The decline of Milan - one of the top five clubs in the world and likely the best club side of the last 40 years outside Pep's Barca - is one of the biggest stories of football in the 2010s onwards. It mirrors Serie A's decline as the best league in the world (though still very good). Only Inter really seem to have been an elite team in recent years. Juve had that spell of winning titles and getting to CL Finals too. But only Inter seem quite unaffected by Serie A's decline (and even they could be better if they had access to PL money).

Both Benjamin Dominguez and Santiago Castro both starting for Bologna vs Juvenuts

Also, there's a familiar face in Juan Miranda for Bologna.

Vamos!

Watching Juve - Bologna...1-2 at the moment...that is a good match to watch...thinking now, maybe Juve disposed of Szczesny too hastily. They, Juve, might have refreshed they squad with fresher blood but the effects are mediocre, as things stand.
