It's gonna get even tougher with the new distribution of TV rights.

I'm all for the better of La Liga. More competition, more exciting! Our now imprisoned legendary president Jose Maria Del Nido was the highest voice for an equal TV rights revenue distribution, his dream along with many others' is about to come true.

Yeah, it definitely has. More and more is required each time.

Although one team's win is another team's loss. So if Barca/Real/Atletico/Sevilla/Valencia are doing better, some other teams must be doing worse.

The gap between 5th and 6th is 16 points! The top 5 have been in a different league this season.

It is a combination of having really good coaches in the teams behind FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, Simeone, Emery, Nuno and Marcelino are all quality coaches, while the bottom teams are weaker this season than before, Córdoba over performed last season to reach la liga and has showed this season that they have nothing here to do "touch wood" don't wanna jinx for tomorrow . Then both Deportivo and Granada have been abysmal the whole season, especially against Real Madrid where it reached almost conspiracy levels of pathetic displays.

35 wins, 9 draws and 10 losses, 5 goals away from setting a new season scoring record.

1 more win in the league would set the following records

22 wins in the league (current record is 21)
Highest point ever for Seville (current record is 71 points)
Highest win % ever in a full season (current is 60% from 2006-07 with 38 wins from 63 games)

34 wins, 9 draws and 9 losses thus far, 65% wins this season is the highest win % Seville has ever had. The year when they won the treble they went, 38 wins, 14 draws and 11 losses for 60% wins. 1 win in the league from establishing a new club record, the current record is 71 points 2006-07. Seville has never gone beyond 21 wins in the league, and they have only done so in 2006-07, 2008-09 and this season. Another record that could fall is the goalscoring record, this season they have scored 103 goals and they still have 4 league matches and 2 or 3 Europa League matches left to beat the club record of 113 from 2007-08 season. 10 goals in 6 or 7 games should be doable.

Emery is doing pretty well I think

Great season they are having. Fair fucks to them.

Sevilla are the John McLane's off the UEFA Cup.

Good that they could get such a great victory with their best defender sidelined. They, like us, are gunning for their fourth European title in less than a decade. Astonishing!

We also want to avenge our Super Cup defeat from 2006. I think Alves scored against us in that game as well.

Edit: No he did not. He was MOTM though.
