Its brilliance & talent that i look in a footballer first. The players i rate are gr8 footballers & them being pleasing to the eye is just an added bonus.

Ribery, A.cole, Arshavin, D.Lopez, Y.Toure are players i dont consider hot, but i rate them highly. So, ur wrong in ur assumption.
Keita was brilliant the other night. Nobody is denying that. But for me to rate him, i'd need to see such a performance against a tough opposition...(chck the keita+toure thread)

Why does he need to give a performance like that against a tough opposition? Everyone has said keita is extremely useful. No one has said he is the next messi rolleyes. Was he useful? Yep. Could madrid have done with a useful player like him to score a hattrick against sporting gijón? Yep they sure could.

Keita is the kind of player that u need because it's often the points u drop against the smaller teams that dictates the outcome of the league. At the end of the day the big 4 or 5 teams are going to take points off each other. It's the club that wins most of the matches against the zaragoza's and the gijón's that will be champions.

Keita is a breath of fresh air to our midfield. When Xaviesta can't play alongside each other Keita is THE man. He is not the best player technique wise but he's box-to-box, energetic, can score goals and header, he's brilliant for us. If we had 3 or 4 of him we would want rid of them but him on his own offering something completly different is brilliant.

I was so happy for Keita the other night. There's something really likeable about him, as a person. I think it's the look of utter disbelief on his face every time he scores a goal.

Zanela, i think we'll need him more against the tough opporsiton (Bar Madrid and maybe the other top spanish teams) because everyone sits back against us, therefore we need a guy who can header the ball really well, becuase most likely it will come down to set pieces that will give us such opportunitites.

What is a squad player? It is someone that will replace a player? Iniesta = a player. I may be mistaken but im sure it was you who said he couldnt replace iniesta. He's never going to be iniesta's clone. But he is useful because he can come in at times and do things like he has done now. And also done earlier in the season with his 2 other goals.
