This. It has nothing do with Messi as a player or Barca legend. In every sports man journey the end comes at some point. It would be easier to start from scratch without Messi because he makes a lot better.

Barca need Messi to continue for a lot of reasons. At least one more season. It is critical for Barca to have Messi until the financial situation of the club stabilizes a bit more.

yes it has, for the club. messi leaving means we have to get a very good playmaker and a very good striker. and those two transfers are either impossible to pull off or won't guarantee the same number as messi.

if we were swimming in cash, then maybe it would have been easier to transition. otherwise messi is the main reason we challenged for something(domestically at least) over the past years.

imagine having to get a top striker now. the fees involved, bonuses and salary to be payed.

some of you ungrateful twats need to remember we got the best player in history for free. sure we payed him a fortune, but he delivered and then some.

A lot of us were optimistic that Barcelona would be somewhat competitive without Messi, but this season has made it clear that without him we are useless. Squad needs to improve entirely before he leaves, otherwise we'd be fucked.
