A lot of us were optimistic that Barcelona would be somewhat competitive without Messi, but this season has made it clear that without him we are useless. Squad needs to improve entirely before he leaves, otherwise we'd be fucked.

No one thought we would not be shit if he left. The point was the flaws would well and truly be visible and there would have adjustments made which never get made as messi makes us look somewhat ok.

yeah he should leave so he has a decent shot at a cl or two before he retires to Argentina or something. barca ain't gonna take any title anytime soon anymore. it's a good thing he played this season for us so he could take the record for most goals for a single club though, that's a big one that won't be beaten anytime soon
