VDB is too keen to stick with his old guns in this. Arbeloa over Carvajal? Albiol over Inigo Martinez? So many talented youngsters missing and replaced by out of form veterans with high profile names. Glad to see Soldado getting a chance for once because he rarely does.

Yeah, Xavi was amazing when we got our tactics right for once. I also think tactics are one reason Xavi seems finished to some. The other being that he's being played too much.

Xavi isn't finished, we just need to fix up our tactics and play him less.
