Yep, Vitolo and Iborra deserve to be called, either way just for curiosity since every other NT manager has announced their team already.

Vitolo is getting called up. I saw a Spanish journalist confirm on Twitter. Plus Del Bosque was at a Sevilla game of his where he scored last week. I don't know about Iborra though.

I would like to see some new, younger faces though.

Someone who is La Roja through and through.

Like you and I myself are Culers.

To be fair, I was just asking him what he meant by that. I only support the Barca players on La Roja, but then I will support all our players when they're on international duty. I don't really have a national team that I would say I'm a diehard fan of. USMNT is alright, and the Indian Federation team is just bad.

Huh? I was just explaining you what he most likely meant :p

I'm not a diehard fan of any national team. I do have strong interests in Brazil NT because I'm Brazilian. But most of the time its me playing manager in my head Can't help it lol.

I'd also say I'm invested in the Spanish NT as well enough to call myself a fan. First it was because of our guys but I really do like their setup. I feel good with their new youngsters coming in to repair the damage of last summer. I do have a feeling Del Bosque isn't the best manager to take them there though. Seems to stubborn to make solid changes.

I'm not a diehard fan of any NT team either, but I loved the spanish team that won 2euros and the WC, also because it's players and style were those of barça (idiots on spanish media say that it's Casillas who won them all this lol), I was kinda sad for them at the WC2014, such a tragic exit, I think the team needs new players to come in but it's gonna take time for them to take their marks and adjust.

Other than that, I support Argentina, for obvious reasons :)

I think that there are very few genuine fans of Spain on here. But that's just me. I will support Spain during the Euro 2016 campaign. I'd love to see our players lift the cup again.

Yea he seems a bit too stuck on the old guys from the golden era and I've yet to see him try something different tactically especially since their playing style has been found out.

As much as I love the Don, I have to take off my Barca glasses and say its time to hand the reigns over to Isco. Maybe he can be a leader off the field and come off the bench. But if Spain are to compete, give the new generation a chance. That midfield with Isco, Koke, Javi Martinez, and Thiago along with a veteran like Busi can spring a combination of strong starting lineups.

A clearly declined Iker continuing on as #1 over De Gea is a sin. Shows Spain isn't truly serious about rebuilding.

VDB also made comments about Torres scoring( spoke to soon too as he has hit a major drought lol) being good for the national team. That meant he actually had plans for Torres to continue on with La Roja.

Its a bit frustrating. I think Spain can go far.

When I was still a "new" Barca fan, I thought I was a Spain fan too because with all the Barca players there it seemed like a no brainer. But these days - and I'm sure a lot of cules also agree - I don't feel that supporting Spain (beyond supporting the Barca players on the team) and supporting Barca really go hand-in-hand. I do like the Catalan national team though, and I wish they were able to play more matches. And of course I'm still happy for their sake if our Spanish nationals do well.

Though, the reason I started watching Barca in the first place is because I saw Xavi playing for Spain and decided I liked him, so.
