Spanish FA, FC Barcelona sanctioned for international transfers of minors

Reading that long rant really put me down, if all of it is true and the folks running this club really is this incompetent, why on earth have they been allowed to run for so long?

The inability to make the necessary signings, the Neymar saga, the lies and ruining of image, the general incompetence of the sporting management, and now THIS?

If they are still in power over the summer, we can might as well just get rid of the whole "vote of no confidence" thing, because if there ever was a board that qualified for such a thing, it's these guys. They haven't just misused their power of the club these last few years, they're in the process of basically pissing all over the club emblem.

I'm all for getting rid of this board but after this I'd be worried about having elections this summer. It would delay transfer activity and if the ban was to be upheld then we cant afford to waste any time in the transfer market while the appeal is being looked at.

To be fair at least we won't sign a player that makes the team worse rather than better, which is more likely with Zubi.

According to new report, Fifa's transfer ban would also mean that on-loan players Rafinha, Deulofeu and Bojan cannot return [catalunyaradio]

How's that even possible? Where will they play then? If they extend the loan contract that means it has to be in the transfer window. As of now,We aren't allowed to do anything in the window right?

FIFA already decided on transfer ban in November but only announced it today, which leaves Barcelona little time to get a suspension. [ara]

lol, don't believe everything you read ,if they aren't allowed to come back it means they are frozen next season with no club ,that is a punishment to the players while the whole ban is about the club

don't believe that at ALL , if that is true than FIFA is basically being retarded with the whole "This is mega serious thing but we took 6 months to say anything"

This is nothing but some kind of pathetic political vendetta. The CAS will overturn this, no doubt. We can say all we want about the incompetence of the board, but when it comes to young players, I find it very hard to believe that they would f.uck up this badly. Also, if it is indeed true that fifa knew about this in November but only announced it to the club today, then it's even shadier.

Pedro López Jiménez, Third Vice President of Real Madrid was part of the FIFA taskforce that investigated the transfers of the Barca youngsters.
Guillem Ballague, Sky Sports La Liga Expert said that almost every club in the world does this (not obeying all rules when signing youngsters) and he's surprised such an intricate investigation was launched.
