you claimed the opposite of the older Real players.

I didn't.
I claimed our undroppables aren't assholes compared to yours, therefore lack of meritocracy in those cases is more sufferable, because there still are merits gained from the situation.

Wolfe, club politics won't deter players from wanting to join Barcelona as long as we provide every other thing that these players seek in a club.

Alone they won't. In combination with other factors along with the fact that other clubs don't have such issues to this extent? Yea, probably.

Attracted plenty of the right players.

About 20% of the total since the club direction changed?

Wolfe heating up over here and the season isn't even near being back on track yet.

Calma, we're still top of the table.

Yes so are you claiming Benzema is not an 'asshole' and not undroppable?

Who at Barca should be dropped for being an 'asshole/not good enough'?

Everybody knows about Wolfe's double standards regarding Barcelona and Madrid. Same logical flow doesn't apply to both teams.

Suarez? Alba? Busquets? Pique? 'Being an asshole' is not the way I'd put it  But it's just a creative way of saying pretty clear things about them i.e. living in denial and politicking their way to the starter spot for at least 80% of the time in each case. Their mere presence drives the way you do business and subsequently the way the 'right' players, ones you would ordinarily pursu, see you.

Of course he's not an asshole. He's the opposite of one in one-to-one contact. He's undroppable due to nepotism and overattachment that he himself has nothing to do with, which are different kinds of negative reasons.

How are they assholes to other players? How do they create a 'shitty atmosphere'?

Or are you backtracking on that now?

Basically all you are saying is players may be put off coming to Barca due to game time which is a consideration the world over for players.

Acting like Real signing 'the right players' when have spent 250m odd on players that barely played this season bar Mendy who is not as good as you seem to think either.

Example is FDJ.... absolutely the right signing..but Barca wont bite bullet and put him ahead of Busquets.

There's no doubt that veterans having a lot of influence doesn't fill the new players with joy, but Wolfe acts as if that trumps every big pull Barcelona has in all key areas: prestige, titles, strong league, popularity, stadium, legendary players, great city to live in, awesome climate and culture. All of those together matter much much more.

Most other big teams don't have all of those assets when trying to sign players. Plus, those are permanent assets. Related to the club, not to the conditions which can change from season to season.

I'm not backtracking on anything. You're somehow asking questions you actively seem not to want to understand answers to.

By forcing the team shape to collapse to fit their favourite habits without causing a net positive effect to the team? By backing a manager on the basis of self-comfort and trust there won't be a conflict, despite the fact that it compromises comfort and goals of others? By continuing delusions of grandeur that they can be useful players in a new setup? By not consistently setting a good example to those learning when the team is in a losing situation?

There's PROBABLY lots more. Those are only those you can glean from the viewer's perspective.

When in doubt talk about transfer fees spent on players that were injured. You're better than that Jammyman.

You claimed Barca is 'full of assholes' that 'bully their way to the spots'.

Then claim.... Not that we have better alternatives in our squad - they still play on merit.

And you won't. If you keep using this as an excuse to give them an undisputed status. Other players coming in will want a guarantee that they either replace them entirely or take priority over them. Which you can't give at a negotiating table.

Nah the Madrid fans knows the squad is full of assholes and bullies that put players off signing.

Haha

You claimed Barca is 'full of assholes' that 'bully their way to the spots'.

Yeah. 4 of them is enough to call it 'full' when they form a senority core.
