So... nothing to see here then. A woman who likes the bad boy type then moans the bad boy is a prick, surprise surprise, and slams him with a "domestic abuser" bullshit claim.

I did not say that the allegations were false, relax. I'm just saying their relationship was pretty openly public and toxic.

Laplacian, time to summon those Algerian shamans like we did for US open

I've been less emotional about grand slams ever since Nadal passed Fed and got his 22nd. But yeah, I still don't want Djokovic to win lol. Kyrgios better not disappoint me

How you keep passing off conclusions with such certainty as if you were a witness is still beyond me.

Allegations of what exactly? She is accusing him of "grabbing her"? What the hell... that sounds like a joke.

Yes, because you just don't go back together with an abuser. Makes zero sense. It was probably like a lot of celebrity relations. Drinking, partying, things get heated, add in some scandal, infidelity... that's it.

That's not fucking domestic abuse. The accusation says Kyrgios... "grabbed her"? What the fuck?

TBF some woman are a bit emotionally damaged and they crave that. That does not mean a man should resort to beating her. Especially if you're a pro athlete and have a spotlight around you. I believe the allegations but at the same time wouldn't be surprised if it was one of those very chaotic relationships.

I don't see any indication he beat her. Did she even say that? I'm reading online that the accusation is that Kyrgios grabbed her. What the fuck is grabbing someone?

Basically, we need to talk about being a prick vs being an abuser. It's a big difference. Not all pricks and narcissistic types make the step to abusers. Some do, and some don't. Some people are just assholes that don't break the law.

I was thinking of the 2021 Australian Open, not this year's. They had broken up during Covid or sometime before that and were together again during the tournament. I just lost track of time and thought it was AO 22.

Anyways I don't really care. It's none of my business.

Yes, because you just don't go back together with an abuser. Makes zero sense.

Whether it makes sense or not, it happens quite often:

The perpetrator may begin to feel remorse, guilty feelings, or fear that their partner will leave or call the police. The victim feels pain, fear, humiliation, disrespect, confusion, and may mistakenly feel responsible.[5]

Characterized by affection, apology, or, alternatively, ignoring the incident, this phase marks an apparent end of violence, with assurances that it will never happen again, or that the abuser will do their best to change. During this stage the abuser may feel or claim to feel overwhelming remorse and sadness. Some abusers walk away from the situation with little comment, but most will eventually shower the survivor with love and affection. The abuser may use self-harm or threats of suicide to gain sympathy and/or prevent the survivor from leaving the relationship. Abusers are frequently so convincing, and survivors so eager for the relationship to improve, that survivors (who are often worn down and confused by longstanding abuse) stay in the relationship.

During this phase (which is often considered an element of the honeymoon/reconciliation phase), the relationship is relatively calm and peaceful. During this period the abuser may agree to engage in counselling, ask for forgiveness, and create a normal atmosphere. In intimate partner relationships, the perpetrator may buy presents or the couple may engage in passionate sex.[5] Over time, the abuser's apologies and requests for forgiveness become less sincere and are generally stated to prevent separation or intervention.[6] However, interpersonal difficulties will inevitably arise, leading again to the tension building phase.[5] The effect of the continual cycle may include loss of love, contempt, distress, and/or physical disability. Intimate partners may separate, divorce or, at the extreme, someone may be killed.[

He's a moany, whiny bitch.

Just because he did a good job at winding Tsitsipas up, people think he's some master troll who's very clever and entertaining.

Normally, Kyrgios is thick as a plank and one of the most frustrating players out there. Majority think he's a clown.

That girl is probably with him for the money in the first place.

The only reason for the Kyrgios love-in is because the tennis scene isn't as happening right now; this adds some spice to the proceedings.

Normally, Kyrgios is the wanker who takes uncountable L's.

The more I look at Kygrios the more I see a skinny nerdish fella that got bullied on when he was young and knows how to defend himself verbally get under peoples' skin and uses it as a weapon on the court Would prolly never get seriously aggressive. Type of guy you are ready to lunge at and then he says all of a sudden "Bruh, why you getting upset, it was just a joke!" Not really a bad boy, just a bullied boy with a defense mechanism. Overheard a debate he had with the umpire and he sounds like he debates on reddit or has gamer friends from the way he argued things. Prolly a lovely fella off the court, maybe can get a tad annoying but would never be intimidating. Hope allegations are not true.

All speculation on my part though.

I know it happens in other cases, but in this case, I doubt she would've gotten back together with him. Besides, the accusation sounds odd. Nick Kyrgios is accused of grabbing his girlfriend. Sounds like some bullshit accusation to get back at him for being a jerk towards her. Which is not cool, but far from "domestic abuse".

We'll see, I'll happily take it back if the trial shows some tapes or something that shows me Kyrgios is really abusive. Something serious, not him sleeping with other people, talking trash, or something like that. You can easily break up with people if you don't like their character. Did he threaten her if she broke up with him or something... lots of questions that need to be asked and answered before you get to tag someone with the infamous domestic abuser title.

About Kyrgios' game, the entertaining part is vastly overstated due to some antics.

He has one of the laziest forehand with that weird looking flick he does(supposedly for top spin).

The only fun forehands he hits are the ones where he jumps and hammers the ball flat which comes off rarely anyways.

He has great trick shots like the tweener but he doesn't pull them off very often.

He's not even as elegant to watch as a Richard Gasquet.

The Kyrgios hype just tells you how boring current Tennis scene is. 10 years back people wouldn't even care about him.

Kyrgios is the typical fake hardman who's probably soft af in real life. Pretty easy to act "hard" on court in a non contact sport when the opponents have their careers to worry about and won't cross the line. Probably got bullied and cucked in high school. Ever heard him argue? "That's default brada"....He ain't the likeable rogue some new Tennis fans think he is. They'll know once they start following his game.

I mean bad boy of the celebrity style, not a real-life bad boy.
