the ideal scenario is we keep t-bone, he has a breakout season and becomes established, and then we sign cesc next season anyway.

we need them both. xavi will be 31 in a year and iniesta only plays half a season.

now where's jamrock to say "I told you so" about this kid?

Also looking forward to see more of him. The problem with our lineup is that we don't have a real backup for Xavi; so playing Iniesta and one of Dos Santos or Thiago would be to risky since they can't hold on to the ball like Xavi can (but who can?) - this midfield would expose us to much. The only possible combination is playing Thiago/Dos Santos with Xavi, but than Xavi won't get much rest this season - that would probably be the biggest advantage of signing Cesc.

Yip. cesc is good.....very very good in fact but this summer's speculation has seen him reach mythical status!
