According to the English newspaper The Sun, Barça is very eager to sign Atlético Madrid-goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

I sure hope this is true, as a Belgian I cannot expres how proud it would make me if there was actually a Belgian in this Barcelona. I was hoping for Kompany but he decided to stay with City.

The Sun isn't the only newspaper that mentioned this rumour and I think Courtois could be an amazing addition to our team.
Agreed, Chelsea wouldn't sell him. However, Barcelona can atleast try to tempt him, Pinto is getting old (and he's just not good enough to give Valdes serious competition) and Courtois is one of the biggest GK-talents in the world.

Valdes understands the club from top to bottom. There'd be no need to replace him now with raw potential.
