More like a peak in form and back down again.

Courtois last season had important saves at important times and was class in final and also conceded a lot of goals in CL run that others get scolded for.. that part seems to get ignored.

What also gets overlooked is he's been rather easy top3 keeper each season since that time where came off ill vs Brugge in CL group stages several years back, in the mix with Oblak, Alisson, Ederson, but never getting credit for it. Greatly contributed to that season (19/20?) where RM had 2nd best defensive record in Europe.
Dip has been due, the peak was through expecting validation he always felt he never received, now he got it and begun playing like he could relax a bit. See if he recognises it and reacts to it.

Dont agree he has been in top 3 for years and others been clear of him but last season can say he was best going. Cant ignore that CL final and iconic performances like that.
