He did cheat. That's a fact. But I wouldn't call him a cheat based on one incident. And then you have people who look at this in different ways so we will always have different opinions.

Yeah he did use hes hand, but in a way you can call it clever play by him too. He disguised it very well so the ref could not see it!
At the end of the day, its the ref to blame if he had of seen it none of this crap that Henry is a "cheat"

I've no doubt it will never happen under the Blatter regime. Thankfully that regime won't last forever, and then..who can say?
The comparisons with other sports aren't really that helpful. As stated earlier i believe the NFL vid review is pretty accurate, but that game is by nature stop-start, football needs to flow. I am not suggesting anything like the NFL level of vid review.
Cricket controversies mainly are specific to lbw and the fact that you can't totally predict the bounce/flight of each delivery.
Tennis? I believe most players support the challenge system although i am not a huge tennis follower i admit.
You will never get 100% correct decisions..this is about moving in the right direction though.
Football will have its own specific issues to address but..If vid review was limited to controversial goal incidents then that is hardly going to change the nature of the game. It just levels the playing field a bit. Passion, drama etc. will still exist in the game.

Take the good with the bad! its all good an well to jump on the bandwagon of a player when they have gave so much wonderful football for us to enjoy over the years, an as soon as he does a very silly honest mistake people start calling him all these names.

In fact he plays fairer than most.
I feel sorry for the Irish for not qualifying, but all these agitation against Henry is just pure hypocritical bullshit. Shame on every single one person who took part in this manhunt!

But: I see Henry as a person of integrity and he has my full support as a FCB player and as a person in general.

Except when Henry cheated he robbed a nation of going to the world cup and didn't admit to it.
It wasn't a split second decision either, it his hand, then he pushed it down to his right foot, looked up, saw Gallas there and then passed it to him. He knew exactly what he was doing.
