Even when Bayern thrashed Barca 3 0 this season, Muller said Barca had amazing technical ability. He went on saying it was their shite physical attributes that lost them the game.

Current Barca is pressing and winning 50/50s much better

I get that as well from lots of friends who sympathize with Barca now, but used to despise what 2010's Barca was as super power. It's human condition. Hope soon again to be part of a hated club!

he said lack of "intensity" rather than physical attributes. It's related of course, but not outright the same.

It is more workrate related. But for sure has to do with your physical shape - how many intensive runnings you can do. A little bit with speed probably, too.

Your team reminds me a little on Bayern 2017/18 after Heynckes came in (Ancelotti's trainings regime was not the best for today's football and the first thing Heynckes did was bringing them into shape) and 19/20 after Flick came in - he put M?ller, Kimmich and Alaba central in the axis (all very vocal and leader figures that directed the players surrounding them - when he subbed any of them the system broke) and revived the positional play they learned from van Gaal and Pep.

You needed someone that brought in structure again and did not just fix immediate problems, strengthened the old (I now how often you blamed e.g. Busquets - but the oldies still play a role as you need them, too) and for sure worked on the physical form.

Just imagine in 2014... he was just 23 and had won one Champions League, a World Cup Bronze medal + the 2014 World Cup. He had 10 goals at World cup at 23. Now, more than eight years and two World Cups later.... he has achieved one more Champions League and nothing at those two World Cups. He wont play in 2026. One would have thought for 90% accuracy that this guy was the top scorer at the World Cup stage by now. But no. Not his fault (entirely) of course but still.... also in 2014 they had such a great squad at Bayern + Pep as their coach. One would have realistically predicted that he (and his Bayern cronies) would have at least like three more CLs now but no. Football is unpredictable.
