Apparently the twitter feeds claiming that Beckenbauer confirmed Kroos to RM are using a horribly mistranslated quote.

Rakitic rafinha busquets iniesta masch (song...ughh) if xavi leaves...masch might be spending more time at cb too if they dont sign a second cb. Could be fine, would rather have someone else other than Song though, even as a squad player. An experienced player perhaps, I dont rate roberto or any other youth product either for the role

Then we'd have Kroos, Iniesta, Rafinha, Rakitic, Sergi, Masch and Busi for 3 spots. 6 potential starters and just 1 who'd accept the bench for most of the season. That's way too many.
Iniesta and Rfainha can also play on the wings.. and noo thats not to much..
Bayern: 3 positions: Schweini, Lahm, Martinez, Shaqiri, Thiago, Kroos, Götze, Hoilberg .. this season

I think Masche will still play CB occasionally, I doubt the board will buy 2 CBs this summer when we failed to buy 1 for years. So 5 players for 3 positions and emergency Masche is pretty much ideal... but what am I talking about, Kroos is going to Real for pocketchange while we offer 45m for Marquinhos
Schwienstiger and Thiago are always up for injury while Kroos and possibly Shaqiri might leave not to mention Hoilberg will still accept a bench role and Gotze plays a secondary striker, CAM or whatever you wanna call it

Kroos has 1 year left on his contract and he wants to earn more money = refused Bayern's offer which makes things easier. You can't really compare the two ''sagas''

Is Rafinha that good to be a starter? Kroos would be perfect with a 25M price tag. Too bad he´s gone to madrid...
