It's just a joke.

If Kroos made Brazilians angry/provoked on social media, then the problem is on them and not Kroos.

Its a joke if normal people post this but a person like him can't.

Imagine messi posting something negative about cr7 when cr7 won bdor.

There is a protocol to be followed, when you are such a big player you have to refrain from all this, plain and simple.

To be frank, if Leo said something negative about CR7 when the latter is voted as the best, then Leo is making a fool out of himself because then the joke is actually on Leo!

On the other hand if Leo said something negative about CR7 when he himself won the Ballon d'Or, now then that would be similar to this scenario

Also depends on context and culture, right... as in, trash talking among friends is seen as just fun in basketball.

Would be funny to see Messi or Ney do a few: "You reach, I teach" moves

What is funny though is that Brazilians are the main force on the banter train before anyone else. Müller and Dante had that joke going on for years and the latter never took real offense in it.
Only real deal is that it's on Twitter, and everyone thinks they must be Gandhi online. It's all trash talk and fucking mums on the pitch and in training, but once they enter post match conference, they quote what their PR coaches tought them, pretend to be some role model of higher morals and care about the polar bears. We all know they are not like that, everyone has this crazy fetish for "classyness" but to me that's only an impressive trait if it comes natural. An athlete doesn't need to desperately become classy, if he just isn't.

that was funny but also spot on! :rap:

so many times, things would go unnoticed until someone or a group protest against it and bring it into focus. It's interesting.

when you mentioned natural class, one name immediately came to mind: Federer. Not just his effortless tennis but also the way he carries himself. Ichiro Suzuki is super classy as well! x/D
Don-buri Iniesta also seems like the real deal.

You sure Dante never took real offense in it? Sounds pretty annoyed here. Don't think anyone gives a shit, but Kroos has a team mate that played that game that got annoyed so it was a bit stupid to make a joke like that publicly. Not quite a 3-1 defeat was it?
