Like what happened to us a couple of years ago..


Some people genuinely hate them, yes. Some are just butthurt and jealous. Both exist.

This is always the case sadly. Can't escape it. I honestly have no idea why some people hate a club because of its success. Obviously everyone would prefer if its their club, but why the hate?

Funny, we humans are sometimes..

I understand why you like your Women's national team. They're quite successful. But... exactly why do you hate the men's? :/

Boys in America stop playing football (soccer) in high school and gravitate towards pigskin, bball, baseball etc, whereas the best American girl athletes continue on through high school and college and pro. USWNT is representative of our best, USMNT is not. Simple.

I agree, i feel like the US could eclipse maybe its European counter parts if they focused more on football(soccer). The way the American public schools and universities fund sports while offering kids an education to fall back on could produce many talented football players if the support(money), coaching and right system was there. Sadly most of their resources especially in college level are allocated to American football and basketball programs since that is where the money/popularity is.

That and don't forget the sheer amount of potential footballers, given the huge population compared to any European country.

You should refrain from transferring your own national bias (German BVB fan hating Bayern, a real shocker) to others. Many outside of the Ruhrpott are, not to mention outside of Germany don't share your hate for Bayern, simple as that. Also not everyone on these boards is a (die-hard) Barca supporter. So not everybody hates on Real with a passion.
