I meant why would Milan want to sell a young promising player. But that I guess that 40m would be hard to turn down for anyone.

He is in most eyes, I don't think he's particularly great, very one dimensional & just doesn't impress me much. (although alot to thank him for, the first part of the season) i love his defensive work. We could do so much with that money, we are adequate for strikers.

Boateng is a no brainer, very average.

To be fair Vermaelen is not that bad. He would be a certain upgrade over any of our defenders except for Pique and Mascherano. Puyol is injury ridden and getting old so I don't have full faith on him being a regular starter next season.

I wouldn't mind him if we purchase another defender in addition to him. We need defenders and a back-up plan if/when the club incurs injuries.

Well this morning Milan are linked to Pastore (via Sport Mediaset), so I guess that is who they want to buy with the El Sha money should that deal happen.
