why?

if Barca pays his release clause and he has the opportunity to manage one of the European elite instead of newly promoted Celta I'd be more surprised if he didn't leave...

Of course he wants to coach Barça but it just seems weird that after all the transfers and the preparations he's done for next season he would leave now. I don't think Celta board would be too happy but at the same time it's obvious that it's a difficult situation for us and they would probably understand. I just hope they find a proper successor if he comes to us because I like Celta as a team and Rafinha shouldn't be messed up.

ideally i'm sure he'd like to continue at Celta after the good work he's done during this pre-season but the opportunity to manage Barca doesn't come around very often and i just think it's an exceptional circumstance and an offer he won't be able to refuse...

Read that we are offering them Rubi as his replacemnt

I was curious, so I did some searching and found a scouting report: http://outsideoftheboot.com/2013/05/02/kurt-zouma-scout-report/

Looks like he's fast, strong and good in the air. He's also only 18 (shitload of potential and will only get better). Don't think he'd be too expensive either. Wonder why we haven't been linked with him. Sure, he's not THAT high profile as opposed to, say, Marquinhos, but he can't be that low profile if I've heard of him before

I'd love to see Papadopoulos at Barca, once he's healthy. He has a buyout clause of 22m I think, maybe we could have a go during the winter or next summer.

Buying Zouma now and Papa in the winter would be such a FM thing to do
