According to L'Equipe (french newspaper), and to many English media, Manchester United absolutely wants to buy Cavani from PSG
From L'Equipe source:
- Moyes came to Bordeaux ealier this month to supervise Cavani
- Fergusson called Laurent Blanc a few days ago to ask if PSG is up to sell Cavani this winter. Obviously, the ex-mancunian player said to Fergu to GTFO
But Manchester and Moyes are still on it and plan a massive OPA on Cavani next summer.
- MU will have 180M euros to spend this summer (obviously, not just for one player, but for all the transfer window)

Between Bayern that absolutely wants T.Silva, now MU wants Cavani!
We don't want to sell them, and if we ever do for Cavani, we paid 64M euros for him. And as always, Scrooge MU will want to pay around 30M max for him, just like last summer.

English newspaper are reporting that Cavani is not happy playing for Paris. Because he has to play on the right because of Ibra.
TBH, maybe it's the truth.
But it's not like Cavani is eaten by Ibra. He scores many goals, he does many assists. He's the second scorer of the french league behind Ibra. And is loved by Laurent Blanc at least as much as Ibra if not more.
That's the difference with Silva. TS and his wife love to live in Paris and really likes the club.
If Cavani doesn't, I understand he would want to leave.
problem is, Rumors from England reported by french newspapers state that MU plan to buy Cavani from us for 35M euros.
I mean..... Why we would sell him for half the price we paid for him :tata1: reselling him for 64M would still be a stupid decision, so for only the half is beyong stupidity.

Cavani would improve your XI because he's not just a striker.
What would you think if i tell you he's one of our best defenders and best midfielders?
Cavani defends when psg is not attacking, and he does a better job at it than all our midfielders including Matuidi.
He's the perfect striker from modern football next to come. He's everywhere on the pitch and still score more goals than 99% of strikers.
He would improve any XI.

We already have Rooney who does similar job for us and there are other major concerns in the team we should address although it would make sense if Rooney leaves in the summer......for now a Striker who defends is not going to fix the gaping hole in our defense......

I dont see why they'd go for Dante. He'd cost a decent amount so they might as well spend the money on someone younger. It doesn't really make sense to splash the cash on a 30 year old defender when the problem with their defence is that it is ageing.
