MD is full of it. I wouldn't pay much attention, they just pick up any name they want and write a little, cute story around it.
The Pogba rumours are much more trushtworthy IMO. Sounds like a perfect Bartomeu big signing in order to lure the voters to his side.

And no german medias actually said it was true. Now let's compare which ones publish the most BS between spanish and germans papers: AFAIK, german papers are more reliable.
FWIW, the french RMC journalist that covers the Bundesliga and lives in Germany, said nothing about that yesterday, while he covered Gundogan's case during the RMC Afterfoot radio show.

Why can't he wait until January? Why is it so urgent for him to move THIS summer?
In any case, I hope United or Bayern go for him, as I sense he will flop from here.

I don't know, I just go by what's being reported. Why would he accept no football for half a season if he can join Bayern or Man Utd right away on better wages perhaps.

United (or any other club for that matter) offering better wages is a wholly different matter than him wanting to play the first half of the season no matter what. If he really wants Barca, then I am sure he can be patient for a few months or so. He can also be loaned back to Dortmund (or some La Liga club for that matter) with the provision that he will not play in the CL, and then come to us.
In any case, I hope we avoid signing him.

The best thing for any player we sign is to come in August and train until January but let´s face it: top players wanna play and waiting for half a season it´s difficult. If we win the CL is a boost.
