@O_Hal1t: "#Napoli is interested in purchasing Raul Albiol for €8M. RM bought him in 2009 for €15M and might be willing to sell."

"#ChelseaFC has shown interest in Di Rossi (#Roma) and contacted them 3 times."

We need someone a lot younger than that Valbuena guy if Thiago leaves. If not, we don't need another midfielder.

Then again, according to Wikipedia, he can play as a winger as well. Maybe we're interested in him for our RW spot?

if we want a right winger why not tell bayern to give us 6m-12m+shaqiri(a stronger, younger and faster player than alexis)for thiago

Why do ppl think we will buy a replacement for the fringe player Thiago? It is extremely unlikely. Besides, with Iniesta and Cesc focusing on midfield this season with the signing of Neymar, we have enough midfielders if Thiago leaves. Busquets is far more adept to playing the Xavi role, and we have a good DM in Song who will be fully adapted next season.

Up front we have 4 players for 2 positions, as Messi is never injured. Alexis or Cesc can play up front in the 1 game Messi is out.

We only need a couple of CBs. We have money to buy 2 if we get 22m for Thiago.

You should stop thinking that Messi is never injured. One tackle and he can get seriously injured.

maybe, but he has played 99% of the games we have played in the last 4 years. If we buy a Messi backup, it is 99% certain he will almost never play and demand to leave the bench for another club in 6 months. its better to use one of our match fit players who already play in other positions for us in the messi position in case he gets injured.

Cesc is not good forward, its clear that he works out more as attacking midfielder and neither like a CM too..

Regarding who should play up front when messi is out, it has to be a player who already plays alot IMO. I dont think it is a good idea to put a player who has been on the bench for weeks or months on such a crucial position. I find that Alexis has done really well in a central position, so I prefer him there in such a case.

Cesc was brilliant in the first half of the season as CM. I think we can also play Cesc in the hole in front of a 3 man midfield, and allow Messi and Neymar to roam up front and cause havoc. Abit similar to the Milan game at Camp Nou.

Yes there isnt anyone really that can replace Messi when he is injured or whatever.Personally im always of the idea having a striker someone like Lewandowski.Messi should always have his free role, seriously he would play just behind him and cutting sometimes to the right i see nothing wrong with that.Cant understand that everybody says a a striker cant fit into this team.Without Messi we are left we Neymar that can bring some goals.Otherwise we have no goalscorers
