Trent Alexander-Arnold

Horatio

You're welcome
From Trent's perspective it makes sense, even if you look only on success reasons, Salah and Virgil carried Liverpool last years but both become old + Salah could even move to another club while at Real you have 3 top promising young players (Mbappe, Vini, ham) so for big titles in next 5-7 years Real is the best solution

Yes you’re right.

But when people discuss Trent’s situation they put a lot of stock in him loving the club and being loyal. We will find out if that is founded.

Club loyalty seems dead anyways.

Milan’s CL pedigree is insane tho.

8 finals, 5 wins between 88 and 07.

And their list of all timers can hang with that of Barca and RM, which are superstar driven clubs.

I’d say it’s a toss up between you guys.
CL pedigree isn't very different. We have many finals too. Even in recent years, we made it to the CL finals many times. Just 1 CL less(which we might win very soon).

Milan are miles behind Juventus in Serie A count. Even after the 30 year drought, we're about to be joint top in England(20 leagues) this season.

We're a unique club and not exactly a superstar driven club like Madrid or Barca so it's not fair to hold it against us coz that's what makes us unique and romantic. A club is a combination of all the elements and the institution of Liverpool FC has just as much prestige as these clubs, all things considered.

Milan's future looks problematic while our future looks promising. Milan are a fallen giant while we have been resurrected by Klopp already and are back to the elite tier.

Ah, now when it suits you are on board of Serie A has fallen off narrative.
Milan have fallen off. That's not even up for debate.

Even if the Serie A is the best in the world, Milan is definitely nowhere near dominating it these days.

My point is about the decline of the club not the league.

Do better.

What does hurt Pool is the lack of all timer superstars.

I mean their best ever player is Stevie G or Kenny lol. Or Salah?

Those don’t even cut top 50 all time
That's what makes it special.

The other clubs who have as many CLs as us have numerous superstars and all timers. Barca, Bayern, Milan have countless all timers.

Yet we do special things as a unit, as a collective, as a football club.

More than that. They are a big club, but without any period of domination whatsover in modern era. Neither domestic or in Europe.

Their place is 5-8th. I exaggerated with 7-8th for dramatic effect but top 4 is a joke.

Aye. You mentioned both Milan and Juventus. 2 of Serie’s A 3 biggest teams.

Of one you mention how they have been dominating their league for decade yet hardly create a dent in Europe.

The other one you mention how bad they are currently. So who has filled that vacuum then for Milan? If you say Atalanta of Napoli will just prove my point.

You are not direct about it but can clearly infer your impression of where league stands currently. League used to produce 3 CL contenders now it’s very likely down to 1.

In recent years? Mostly Inter and before that Juventus for a long long time.

Jeez, just look at the list of Serie A winners!

The point is that whatever the Serie A is, Milan are surely not dominating their domestic league and are far behind Juventus in Serie A legacy.

Liverpool have great history in domestic and continental competitions. We have both. Milan and Juve don't(relatively speaking).
