If Trent moves to Madrid it will epitomise the way this forum glazes over Madrid and is negative towards Barca.
If he goes to Madrid we will see videos of amazing long range passes with people frothing how it's like having KDB as a quarterback and praising another Florentine masterclass.
If he went Barca, people would be moaning 24/7 about how he can't defend, showing videos of such, and attacking Laporta et al for giving a big contract to a player with the defensive output of Ansu Fati.
Such is the way of this forum.

With that said, this is what Liverpool get when they skimp on wage renewals relative to worth. Guys like Trent, Salah and Mane before will wind down their contracts and leverage the best deal for themselves. Their agents will know that Liverpool pay them one of the lowest wages among the big clubs. Which will work if you can sign from the PSVs, Red Bulls and Portos 6/12 months before other big clubs become interested, but will become increasingly challenging.
